Police Scotland is investigating a break-in to a house adjacent to the caravan park in Southerness which happened while it was unoccupied, sometime between Sunday 20 November and Monday 12 December 2016. A large amount of cash was stolen in the raid, which police describe as a considerable three figure sum.
Detective Constable Grant Drennan said “It appears that only cash has been taken in the raid and may well have been the target of the break-in. We are carrying out door to door enquiries in the area and are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about the break-in to get in touch with us through 101.”
