Dumfries & District Trades Union Council (Dumfries TUC) will be holding a half-hour rally at the Robert Burns statue in Dumfries town centre on Saturday 21 January at 12noon as a mark of protest at the inauguration of Donald Trump the 45th President of the United States of America.
John Dennis, secretary of Dumfries TUC, “We want to show our solidarity with the majority of US voters who voted against Mr Trump,We invite anyone who feels anxious about the presidency of Donald Trump to join us in a show of support”
The peaceful protest welcomes anyone along to join them with words, placards, music and song.
