Dalbeattie High School will host an Award Ceremony for S2 Construction Students in the school at 7pm on Wednesday 14 June 2017.
This event will serve as a ‘graduation’ for those young people who have earned themselves a CREST Bronze Award through the school’s partnerships with Dumfries and Galloway College and GRAHAM, the construction company delivering an exciting new Dalbeattie Learning Campus. College staff were so impressed with the students that they commissioned a medal, sponsored by GRAHAM, for each student.
As well as recognising the contribution of the pupils, we will have an opportunity to thank our partners and to share the story with other schools and companies who are considering a similar programme of study.
There will be musical entertainment, a few short speeches and an opportunity to enjoy the excellent hospitality which is the mark of our Home Economics department; thereby showcasing just some of the wide range of talents of the young people of Dalbeattie High School.
