An Aldi colleague in Dumfries is celebrating a work anniversary milestone this month after working at the supermarket for 20 years.
Kirsty Pagan, Deputy Store Manager at Aldi in the Annan Road store in Dumfries, first joined the supermarket in 2002. Prior to her current role, Kirsty spent 14 years as a Store Assistant, joining Aldi straight from school and has never looked back. During her time at Aldi, Kirsty has become a mother.
Speaking about her long service, Kirsty said: “It has been a privilege to work at Aldi for 20 years and I’ve really enjoyed being part of Aldi’s journey. It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come. I’ve loved working here and want to thank my amazing colleagues who make it such a great place to come to work every day. I’m looking forward to the next 20.”
When asked about her favourite products at Aldi, Kirsty replied: “It changes constantly, but my absolute favourite has to be the Potato Scones – they are a family favourite and make breakfast that bit more special.”
Richard Holloway, Regional Managing Director for Scotland said: “Without the hard work and dedication of our colleagues, we wouldn’t be able to provide customers with the excellent and efficient service we’ve become known for.
“Colleagues like Kirsty are the cornerstone of our business and I thank her for her continued dedication throughout the last 20 years.”
