Many of you are involved with developing Local Place Plans and Community Resilience Plans.
All of us, however, are living within a news story every day. A news story so huge that we often barely realise it is there. That is, until such times when we are reminded of its presence by particularly extreme weather events.
That news story is of course, CLIMATE CHANGE
Your D&G Climate Hub is proud to have been asked to help facilitate this hugely important meeting about building resilience and adapting to climate change in our county. Leading the event will be representatives from The Scottish Government and Sniffer, a national charity deeply involved in developing the Scottish national Adaptation Plans.
Please attend this important event if you can.
D&G is just one of only sites across Scotland to have been chosen to host these consultation meetings.
Just 2 hours of your time on Feb 27th will give you rare opportunity to learn about community resilience in the face of climate change and hear about the next Scottish National Adaptation Plan from the people at the very heart of it.
If you have questions, they are some of the people best placed to answer them.
