Community groups, charities and volunteers from across the Glenkens are invited to come along to one of five initial drop-in sessions to find out more about the newly-launched Blackcraig Wind Farm Community Fund.
Representatives from Foundation Scotland, who will administer the fund, and the Glenkens & District Trust, who will make the decisions on grant-making, will be on hand to answer questions, offer support with the application process and explain the funding criteria.
The fund will be open to constituted groups based in or benefitting residents in Balmaclellan, Balmaghie, Carsphairn, Corsock & Kirkpatrick Durham, Crossmichael, Dunscore, New Galloway, Parton and St Johns Town of Dalry with grants of between £500 and £25,000 available.
Meetings will take place on the following dates and times:
Balmaclellan Village Hall – Monday 3rd June 6-8pm
Glenriddell Hall, Dunscore – Wednesday 5th June 6-8pm
Parton Village Hall – Wednesday 12th June 6-8pm.
Dalry Town Hall – Saturday 8th June 10-2pm
Corsock Village Hall – Saturday 15th June 12-2pm
