CASTLE DOUGLAS based firm Bryan Swales Auto Repairs has generously donated a substantial sum of money to help fund the brand new ‘Soap Box Derby‘ to be held on the towns highstreet this summer.
Bryan handed over the cheque for £447.50 tonight, January the 8th 2019 at his garage on the Sation Yard in Castle Douglas.
Bryan said “The Money has been raised from MOTs carried out between October and December. “
Event orgainiser Matt McKerlie Said “We Are so thankful for the support from Bryan. A fantastic gesture from a local buisness wishing to see the Castle Douglas Soap Box Derby become a key part in the towns event for the foreseeable future.”
