Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service (D&G CAS) are expanding the ways in which people across the region can access advice, with a new outreach clinic set to start up in Moffat.
Brenda Waugh, manager of D&G CAS’s Annan Bureau is delighted to launch the new outreach, “The clinic will operate every fortnight, making advice easier to access for people who find it difficult to travel. The standard of service they will receive is exactly the same as they would find in one of our bureaux.”
The new drop-in clinic will start on Wednesday 4th September, from 1.00pm to 4.00pm and be held at Upper Annandale Parish Church (formerly St Andrews), at Church Place in Moffat, continuing fortnightly.
D&G CAS is steadily increasing its number of outreach clinics. In addition to those already established in Castle Douglas, Glenkens and Mid-Galloway, new clinics have recently been added at Lockerbie, Lochside and Kelloholm.
Phil Stewart, D&G CAS Chief Executive explains, “Our commitment to ‘right place, right time, right way’ means we are always seeking new ways of making sure our advice service is accessible for everyone. Through our outreach clinics, partnership working and self-help digital services, which mean people across the region can access advice at a time and in a way that suites them.”
