Are you ready to take your next adventure to new heights? Lace up your boots, gather your team, and prepare to be inspired — the Arrochar Alps Challenge is a breathtaking challenge that’s not to be missed.
This isn’t just a hike, it’s a one-day mountain adventure through some of Scotland’s most iconic peaks: Ben Narnain, Ben Ime, and the legendary Cobbler (Ben Arthur). With the guidance of expert mountaineers from Sport Ecosse Events, you’ll be in safe hands as you climb for a cause and soak in panoramic views that will stay with you forever.
In Dumfries and Galloway, Quarriers is proud to offer a range of vital services that provide essential support to children, young people and families across the region. Every penny raised locally stays local – helping us to continue making a real difference in the community.
Quarriers Family Support Service, based in Dumfries and Stranraer, is at the heart of our work in the area. Supporting children and young people affected by disability, and their care givers. From offering practical advice and emotional support to arranging family-based short breaks for children with significant disabilities, the team is committed to making life that little bit easier. Also on offers is the Father’s Project, offering tailored support to dads and male carers of children with disabilities – creating a safe space to connect and share experiences.
Quarriers also offer support to parent carers of children under 18 who are living with disabilities, complex needs or health challenges – both physical and mental. The team helps families access the right advice, services and resources to make their caring roles more manageable and sustainable.
In addition, our Youth Housing Support Service is there for young people aged 16–25 who are care leavers, homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless. Taking a person-centred approach to help them find and maintain safe accommodation, access the right support, and build a brighter, more stable future.
Everything we do in Dumfries and Galloway is driven by our belief that with the right support, people can achieve great things. And when you donate or fundraise for Quarriers in this region, you’re directly supporting children, young people, and families in your community.
