Cunninghame Housing Association has been announced as finalists in three categories of the Scottish Home Awards for 2020.
Categories:
Affordable Housing Development of the Year (Large, social rent) – Halcrow Stadium, Gretna
Housing Regeneration Project of the Year – High Street, Annan
Affordable Housing Development of the Year (Mid-sized, social rent) – Longpark Phase 7, Kilmarnock
The Scottish Home Awards was founded in 2007 and is run for the benefit of the housebuilding community, with the objective of helping housebuilders and housing associations sell, rent or promote their properties more effectively.
Frank Sweeney Group CEO commented “The Association is delighted to have been selected as finalists in these prestigious awards”.
The independent competition is judged by a panel of experts drawn from across the sector, bringing together industry experience and market knowledge to recognise the greatest achievements in newbuilding housing across Scotland.
Cunningham Housing Association has a huge social housing development programme in place for Dumfries & Galloway, over the next three to five years, that will provide over 300 homes for rent. They are also currently building homes in Annan & Lockerbie and all the properties will be available on the Dumfries & Galloway Common Homes Register.
The Scottish Home Awards dinner and celebration takes place on Thursday 11 June 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.
