DGMHA as part of its growth, planned to register the services they have across the region according to geographic locations/ size and specialities. Monday saw the first registration being launched.
DGMHA West is now a registered service provider for the West of the region. The service has its main office in Stranraer and one in Newton Stewart, they provide outreach support from Gatehouse of Fleet to the far West to people living with mental health conditions.
The new Registered Manager of the Service is Annmarie Wither, and she has two deputies due to the size of the service, they are Karen Wither and Emma Miller.
To mark the launch of the registration The Chair of the Board, the Deputy Chair, CEO, members of Senior Management Team, and other staff and service users from across the region joined the Stranraer team and their service users for a lovely buffet lunch made by Colin at Stranraer Football Club, to celebrate.
The CEO presented Annmarie and her deputies with flowers and thanked them for their hard work and said she was excited to see what the future would bring for their service.
