Dumfries Devorgilla Rotary Club are thrilled to be opening a Charity Pop – Up Shop this November in the Loreburne Centre, Dumfries.
The Pop – Up will be open from 24th to 26th November and located in the former Body Shop across from Marks and Spencers. Customers will be able to purchase a range of pre-loved items on offer, including books and bric-a-brac and the chance for some real bargains that you can no longer get on the High Street.
The shop will be entirely for Charity and manned by volunteers from Devorgilla Rotary and is the third year the Pop – Up Shop has been open. Our Service and Environment Convenor Charles Milroy said “We are really excited to open the shop and given the opportunity for which we are really grateful for the assistance of the Loreburne Centre and Michael O’Hagan. The Pop – Up will be a great way to raise money with ever purchase made going to local charities and youth organisations. In previous years an amazing £8,000 has been raised with charities such as Cash for Kids benefiting. We are therefore delighted to have been given this empty property again by the Loreburne Centre in a prime location and hope we can further benefit local causes”.
The Charity Pop – Shop will be set up from the 23th November and any donations for items for sale will be gratefully received then at the shop. There will also be a Tombola with great prizes on offer every day.
