A Dumfries mum is taking steps to keep the lockdown widow display continuing around Dumfries and Galloway.
During the past few weeks of Covid 19 lockdown designs have been appearing in windows, initially it was a Rainbow Eye Spy for children to look for when out for their daily 60 minute exercise. This was followed by Smiley faces, Suns and animals.
With a new month coming in and Lockdown staying firmly in place Jenna McCrone who organises a baby and toddler group called “Bounce n Rhyme” could not find anymore ideas listed anywhere for the children to continue this uplifting idea so took upon herself to keep Eye Spy going.
She said “I decided that as the list of window themes ends this week with Smiley faces, creating a new list for the month ahead would give the #masseyespy more momentum to continue. Many little ones have been joining in with their window displays to help raise spirits in these uncertain times.
Future design ideas include VE day 75th Anniversary celebration images, teddy bears, the seaside, the park and aeroplanes.
Please join in and present your designs in your windows for people passing by to enjoy and to give the children something fun to do in the house and when out for a walk.
