Every year Holywood Trust award funds to amazing organisations. Recently, Director Karen Ward Boyd visited Horses4Help CIC Therapeutic Horsemanship Centre to award funding for an outdoor training pen, and towards running costs.
Horses4Help are an organisation based in Wigtown, providing therapeutic horsemanship sessions for people from disadvantaged backgrounds, aiming to improve mental and physical wellbeing. Therapeutic horsemanship benefits a wide range of adults, young people and children – including those with behavioural challenges, mental health issues and learning difficulties.
