The Annual Kirkin’ of the Deacon Convener took place on Sunday in Kirkcudbright.
The procession was led along the High Street the Parish Church by two young pipers from Kirkcudbright and District Pipe Band.
Deacon Convener Ian D. Swan welcomed MSP Emma Harper along with delegations from Kirkcudbright Cornets Club, York Cordwainers and Irvine Incorporation for the ancient Kirkin’ ceremony.
