Dumfries & Galloway Citizens Advice Service (D&G CAS) is looking for volunteers to join their hardworking and dedicated teams in Dumfries, Annan and Stranraer bureaux.
Jess Benzie, Communications and Volunteer Development Manager states “Our volunteers are the backbone of our service. Last year D&G CAS helped 7290 clients and secured £7.4 million in client financial gains which could not have been possible without the 4723 hours our volunteers delivered.
“Volunteers can join us in several different roles, including advice roles, administrative roles and board member positions. We also have social media volunteers to help with our Facebook and Instagram accounts. We give full training for every role so our volunteers are comfortable in their work which can be done virtually or in the office at the volunteers own pace.
“Please get in touch if you are interested in helping your community with a group of friendly, like-minded people. It is also a great way to enhance your CV if looking for work or a change of career.”
