Protecting Our Planet Funding Available from the Holywood Trust for Dumfries and Galloway Youth. The Holywood Trust would like to support young people locally who are interested in Climate Change and is looking to fund initiatives which engage young people in Dumfries & Galloway – this applies to individuals, groups of individuals and organisations supporting young people – in any of the following:
• Individual creations and creative projects that engage young people in protecting the planet.
• Educational initiatives to support learning and action to protect the planet
• Local environmental sustainability projects.
• COP26, a conference being held in Glasgow in November 2021 which aims to coordinate international action to tackle climate change; or other relevant events.
Eligibility & grant request limits
• Location – Dumfries and Galloway.
• Applications from individual young people, aged 15 – 25 years – £1,000.
• Applications from groups of young people, aged 15 – 25 years – £1,000.
• Applications from constituted organisations (engaging with young people aged 15 – 25 years) – £10,000.
Timeline
· Launch – 19th May 2021
· Deadline for applications – Friday 9th July.
· Decision by delegated panel –week b/g 2nd August.
