Last Tuesday, 17th September 2024, Past President of Annan & District Rotary, Jim Ferguson, presented to Alison Hampton of Gretna Day Centre.
The Mindfulness Colouring competition winner, along with the supporting pencil-coloured drawings from the 14 contestants who entered, was displayed. One member won the competition with a beautifully coloured drawing of a zebra. As shown in the photograph, Alison and Jim are holding the framed winning entry, with the other contestants’ drawings also framed and on display.
The club members seemed to enjoy the relaxing and beneficial experience of colouring, and with smiles all around, they received a special treat from Jim, who had recently returned from the Blackpool Kite Festival with a stock of the famous Blackpool Rock for everyone.
Many members appreciated this enjoyable and helpful activity.
