Mandy Bleasdale has been out searching for Daisy since she went missing. Mandy told DGWGO “Yeah, the search is very much ongoing. We’ve had quite a few volunteers in the local area of Thornhill, Lochmaben, Dumfries but what we want is more people on the ground to look.”

Daisy has been missing since January 31st 2022.

“We’re looking in sheds, farms, anywhere she can keep warm in this weather. She’s a very scared little dog so she won’t approach us, so she’ll be curled up about the size of a pillow she’s a blue and white greyhound she’s about three and a half year old if you do find her please phone us.

“If you do find Daisy as I said actually phone the numbers that we’re going to give you. Don’t give her a huge meal because her stomach will be cramped and she’ll get bloat or she could die. So give her a small amount of food. Something small to drink as well. She rather likes milk, warm milk.”

“Wrap her up if she is in a state of collapse if you can actually wrap her up in a duvet that would be brilliant. If you do find her she really does need to go to a vet and she is in a state of collapse get her to the vet straight away and then inform us. But if she is alive and she is running please ring us.”
