A big THANK you to Southerness Golf Club from Macmillan Cancer Support. All funds have been kept in the local area.
Dr Betty Rose presented the Rose Trophy in 1990 to the ladies section of Southerness Golf Club. Played as an invitational greensomes with all proceeds going to McMillan Cancer Support in the local area.
In 1990 £270 was raised . In 2023 with sponsorship from local companies, raffles and the entry money from the competition £5556 was raised taking the total amount raised since inception to over £101,000.
