Warhammer Alliance For Annan and Eastriggs

Established in 2017 at Annan Academy School Library the Annan Academy Armageddons have grown to be a substantial club within the schools extra curricular timetable.

The Club has links with the local Annan Games Club at the ARC, Hadrians Hobbies in Brampton, Warhammer store in Carlisle and as of this week The Devil’s Porridge in Eastriggs. Ms Nixon, School Library Assistant and  the clubs founder, was approached by Steven Bogle, Access and Learning Officer,  to help brainstorm a new club for the Eastriggs Museum. Steven visited the school and met with the pupils who attend the weekly club, Ms Nixon and volunteer helper Ms Walker-Jones, to ask for their input and suggestions and they gladly passed on their knowledge of the popular table top RPG. Louisa Jones, a member of the Annan Games Club, came along to present a cheque for £100 to Steven to help the new club start up and buy necessary supplies. The Eastriggs Warhammer Club is set to start in the School Summer Holidays and will be a place for individuals interested in Warhammer to build, paint and play on a Saturday afternoon.
