Ninety members, patrons, supporters, promoters, venue managers and press personnel turned up at Loch Arthur, Beeswing, on Tuesday evening to celebrate the launch of the 37th Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival programme.
They were treated to a very special production of Rapid Departure, an hilarious interactive theatrical performance which is touring the region for five days beginning 15 March.
This year, 85 festival events will take place in 48 venues across the region’s 3,993 square miles, bringing world class performing arts in music, theatre, dance and literature to even the most remote communities from 20 to 29 May.
