Living Advent has Landed!
The Living Advent 2015 team are getting ready to bring the town of Dumfries a truly festive December! For any of you who haven’t heard of The Living Advent yet, it’s a grand 24 day experience where each day of December leading up to Christmas day there will be a performance by the local artists of Dumfries in the town centre…
So basically, a very literal living advent calendar brought to you live each day!
There will be an array of varied entertainment such as bite-sized mini panto slots, Christmas story telling, a great selection of musical performances, and even a Peter Pan and his friends are showing up! Within the midst of this, Santa Claus is surely going to make an appearance! (Yep, that’s a promise Santa will most definately be there, I doubt he’d miss this for the world!)
Advent Director, Donna Winter says:
“Living Advent will be working highlight community groups and organisations going on in and around Dumfries, we’re aiming to showcase the talent all around us in our community. So let’s bring our town together and sprinkle a little Christmas magic!”
