ARE YOU CUT OUT TO TAKE PART IN KIRKCUDBRIGHTS BIG DRAW?

Come along to St Cuthbert’s Hall in Kirkcudbright’s High Street and take part in The Big Draw on Saturday 14th October from 1.30 – 4.30pm, organised by Kirkcudbright Galleries.

This is your chance to transform the hall into a temporary art gallery in an afternoon. Get creative with cardboard to make objects, wall hangings and plinths for sculpture, all just for fun. Bring along some cardboard of your own if you like.

Working with artist, Charlotte Duffy-Scott, you will be guided to create some wonderful gallery artefacts. You can place your finished piece into the temporary make-believe gallery space or you can take your cardboard sculpture or wall hanging away with you.

Councillor Andy Ferguson, Chair of the Communities Committee, said, “Our Big Draw event held this year in St Cuthbert’s Hall will give people a taster of the exciting range of activities that will be available when Kirkcudbright Galleries opens in March next year”.

Everyone is welcome to take part in this free Big Draw event. Booking is not required. Children must be accompanied.

The Big Draw The Big Draw is a long running campaign to widen the understanding of the value of drawing as a tool for learning at all ages.
