‘Evoke’ and is a photography exhibition full of exciting work from the HND students at Dumfries and Galloway College. They have worked hard over the last few months bringing together their best work to exhibit locally. There are 11 student photographers altogether, and all will be showcasing a snippet of their work at Shambellie House, New Abbey in May.
The exhibition will be held between the 12th May and 25th May 2018 (11am-4pm). All are welcome, and refreshments will be provided. There is a VIP Opening Night on 11th which a reporter may be able to attend with notice.
There will be a select number of prints available for purchase from each photographer.
Hannah Samuels told DGWGO “There is a large following for local photography and home-grown talent in Dumfries and Galloway and we believe it’s important to encourage this and show what amazing work comes from the students at the College. They have organised the event entirely on their own.”
