Disturbance – Castle Douglas
Police are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance which took place outside the Imperial Hotel in Castle Douglas at around 2250 hours on Saturday 6 December 2014.
At that time approximately 30 people were found by police outside the premises where a disturbance and fighting was taking place. One male, a 28 year was found to have been assaulted and was treated at the scene by ambulance staff. He received minor facial injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing into this assault and a number of other public order type offences which were ongoing at the time. Police are asking for anyone who may have been in the area and who may have any information which may help in this investigation to get in touch through 101.
