Castle Douglas Roads Policing Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious two-vehicle crash, on the A714 south of Bargrennan, at around 11.55am on Sunday, 20 March, 2022.
The crash involved a Fiat Ducato van and a Yamaha Tracer 9 motorcycle. The 66-year-old male motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with life-threatening injuries.
PC Josh Maxwell, of the Castle Douglas Road Policing Unit said: “We’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or was in the area around that time and may have potential dashcam footage, to please come forward.
“If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call 101, quoting incident 1488 of 20 March.”
