UPDATE: Jamie Lee Harvey (12) who was last seen in Ayr has been traced.
Officers are appealing for information to help trace 12-year-old Jamie Lee Harvey last seen in Ayr.
Jamie was last seen at Craig Tara Holiday Park around 8pm on Tuesday, 16 May 2023.
She is described as being 5 feet tall, slim build with long brown hair.
When last seen she was wearing black leggings and a light blue hooded top.
Inspector Scott Brown said: “Jamie Lee has been reported missing before, but given her age we are growing increasingly concerned for her.
“She does have friends in Irvine, Kilwinning and Stevenston areas of Ayrshire and may have travelled there. I would appeal to anyone who knows where she is to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 3667 of Tuesday, 16 May, 2023.”
