POLICE officers in Dumfries are investigating a serious assault which is believed to have taken place between 6 PM and 8 PM on Sunday 10th February in Armour Drive in the town.
The victim, a 31 year old man, was left with serious injuries that required hospital treatment.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Police officers in Dumfries via the 101 number.
