An Historic Dumfries building that was converted into a multi million pound family attraction has got to find a buyer before October 3rd 2024 as a closing day for the sale has now been announced.
The Dumfries attraction that had multi millions of pounds of public funding spent on it in recent years has gwent up for sale after it was announced that it was going to cease trading.
The Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust announced earlier this summer that the Moat Brae Visitor Centre in Dumfries was to close its doors to the public at the end of August.
The large impresive sandstone building had been put on the market by ‘Shepherd Chartered Surveyors’ and did not have an asking price listed. It is aleged that several local organisations have shown an interest in purchasing the building.
Shepherd’s have announced the closing date to be 12.00 noon on Thursday the 3rd of October 2025, so a buyer will need to be found by then.
