Police Scotland officers are investigating a break-in to The Steamboat Inn at Carsethorn.
The break-in occurred sometime overnight between Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd May 2017. At this stage is appear that cash to the value of just under £1000 has been stolen in the raid.
Constable Sam Ewart said “we want to hear from anyone in the village who may have seen or heard anything suspicious over Monday or the early hours of Tuesday this week.”
Anyone with any information which might help in this investigation is asked to call Police Scotland at Dumfries on 101.
