On 08/04/2022 Benvenuto’s takeaway in Dumfries was broken into and a quantity of money was stolen.
In addition, a White Kia Picanto registration mark A16 BNV was stolen and last seen at the property at 4.45am. The car was later found on Cresswell Gardens, Dumfries at 6.30pm.
Police are appealing for witnesses that may have been in the area of Benvenuto at 4:45am or Cresswell Gardens prior to the car being discovered at 6.30pm.
Anyone with information regarding the incident, or if they have CCTV or other video footage which may assist, is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 0453 of 8th April 2022.
