Vintage theme for Threave Father’s Day Tea
Celebrate Father’s Day in style with vintage afternoon tea while enjoying glorious views of the National Trust for Scotland’s Threave Garden and the Galloway Hills on Sunday 21 June.
Richard A. Polley, Property Manager at Threave Garden & Estate says: “Our vintage afternoon tea is an ideal treat for fathers this father’s day. Come along and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in the beautiful surroundings of Threave House.”
Dads will be welcomed with a glass of champagne followed by traditional afternoon tea served in the principal rooms of Threave House.
Tea will be served between 2pm and 4.30pm. Tickets cost £14.95 per person or tea for two for £25. Book a table by calling 01556 502575.
Take the time to explore the spectacular gardens created over the years by students of the Trust’s School of Heritage Gardening. Explore the different areas of the garden from the rock garden, patio garden and secret garden to the walled garden and glass houses which display succulent fruit and vegetables. Threave is also a designated Bat Reserve – follow the bat trail to spot wonderful rare bats.
