Finlay Carson MSP has today welcomed Modern Studies students from Maxwell Town High School and the Girls under 16s Solway Ice Hockey Team to the Scottish Parliament.
The students of Maxwell Town High School had a tour of the Scottish Parliament, had the opportunity to ask Finlay questions and attended First Minister’s Questions.
The Girls under 16s Sloway Ice Hockey Team also attended First Minister’s Questions and were lucky enough to get a photo with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
Commenting, Finlay said:
“I was delighted to welcome these young constituents to the Scottish Parliament today. We had a lively discussion on issues ranging from Scottish Independence to the Whitesands Flood Defence Scheme.
“I hope they enjoyed their visit and feel inspired to get involved in politics in the future.”
