Officers are investigating a vandalism which happened at the Youth Club in the basement area of the village hall in Glenluce. Sometime on the evening of Friday 5 January 2018, while a children’s film screening was taking place in the main hall, the basement area appears to have been entered and damage caused. Two televisions have been smashed and other items strewn across the floor and damaged.
Constable Allison Rice said “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been at the hall on Friday night while the film show was on and in particular if they saw or heard anything suspicious. Anyone with any information which might help us catch those responsible can call us at Stranraer on the 101 number, quoting PDG 000410118. The value of the damage caused is still being assessed.
