The Devil’s Porridge Museum at Eastriggs near Annan, Dumfries and Galloway is a 5 star attraction – it is official!
The museum was visited last week by ‘mystery shoppers’ from Visit Scotland who periodically check all establishments for the standard of their provision. During the visit, cleanliness and friendliness were highlighted as particular strengths of the organisation which was also praised for its overall appearance and the quality of the displays and interpretation. This is the third year in a row that the museum has been recognised as providing an exceptional visitor experience.
Museum Manager Judith Hewitt told DGWGO “We are all delighted to have retained our well deserved five star status. The Devil’s Porridge Museum is a great destination in our region with a unique historical story to tell and something for every visitor to enjoy.”
