DG Customer Services Moffat – We’re Open on Tuesday 26 January

Following extensive capital works of the existing library in Moffat, the refurbished DG Customers Services in Moffat will open its doors one week earlier than originally planned.
The doors will open at 10am on Tuesday 26 January. From this date all three services will be delivered from the same premises. The services are as follows:
• Library services book lending, local history and genealogy services and free access to computers and the internet.
• Customer services benefit and council tax enquiries, council information and reporting of faults.
• Registration services registration of births, deaths and marriages and conducting of civil marriages, civil partnership and citizenship ceremonies.
Opening hours at our Moffat integrated facility are as follows:

Tuesday 10.00 to 19.00

Friday 09.00 to 17.00
Saturday 09.00 to 12.00

Chair of Community and Customer Services Committee, Councillor Tom McAughtrie, said,
“We have created a facility at the existing library premises in the Town Hall, High Street, Moffat which will give you access to a wide range of information and services within one facility. These services continue to be delivered by helpful, knowledgeable staff who will be happy to assist with your enquiries.

We have created an interview room which can be used for Registration of events and private interview space. The Customer Service Centre and Registration will move to the new premises from Tuesday 26 January 2016.”
