Following a 6 week close down and capital works of the existing Customer Service Centre in Sanquhar, the refurbished DG Customers Services will open its doors at 10am on Monday 20 June 2016. From this date all three services will be delivered from the same premises. The services are as follows:
· Library services book lending, local history and genealogy services and free access to computers and the internet. · Customer services benefit and council tax enquiries, council information and reporting of faults. · Registration services registration of births, deaths and marriages and conducting of civil marriages, civil partnership and citizenship ceremonies. Both the existing Customer Service Centre and Library will be closed from Monday 13 June – Sunday 19 June to allow the Library to be moved into 100 High Street. During this time the mobile library will be present on 100 High Street, Sanquhar (outside the former Library) on Monday 13 June from 10.00am – 3.30pm.
