A man has been arrested and charged following the recovery of drugs on the M74 at Johnstonebridge in Dumfries and Galloway.
Around 2.30pm on Tuesday, 18 February, 2025, Police officers acting on intelligence stopped a car on the M74 northbound at junction 16 Johnstonebridge.
Cannabis with an estimated street value of £43,000 was recovered.
The 43-year-old male driver was arrested and charged in connection and released on an undertaking to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 19 February, 2025.
