The UK and Scottish Governments have announced new restrictions for all members of the public, including travel to and from work where absolutely necessary.
The work the Council is undertaking – providing essential lifeline services to our most vulnerable and working with the NHS to protect citizens means it is necessary that our skilled and committed workforce continue help us to fulfil our responsibilities as a category 1 responder to this national emergency.
Essential Council staff should continue to work as previously directed. Over the coming day’s managers will prioritise staff working arrangements in line with national guidance.
