A trio of Dumfries and Galloway College graduates have secured positions with a renowned national health club operator.
Callum Grierson, Rachel Laverie, and Alexandra Bryson all graduated from the HND Fitness, Health, and Exercise programme at the college’s Dumfries campus.
All three graduates are from Dumfries and chose to stay in their local area to take advantage of the opportunities offered to them by their college and local business.
Grierson, 27, Laverie, 19, and Bryson, 39, have all developed excellent working relationships with the health club during their studies and are delighted to have stepped in to full time roles that are well-suited to their skills and education.
In recognition of their talents and abilities, the local branch of a national branded health Club in Dumfries has taken them on as Fitness Advisors.
Dumfries and Galloway College warmly congratulates all three graduates and welcomes their appointments as further proof of the college’s continued contribution to the local economy.
Principal Joanna Campbell said:
“As a college, we value our relationships with local businesses very highly and are therefore delighted to see our graduates go on to fulfil their potential in our area.
“My warmest congratulations go out to Callum, Rachel, and Alexandra; they have all worked hard to get to where they are now and all of us at Dumfries and Galloway College could not be prouder of them.”
Lorraine Hutton General Manager of the Health Club in Dumfries said:
“Alexandra, Rachel, and Callum are welcome additions to our team and we’re delighted to have them with us.
“All three have shown themselves to be highly skilled and talented in their field, thanks to the training they’ve received at Dumfries and Galloway College.”
