TOP INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR NEW DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY HOSPITAL

 

NHS Dumfries and Galloway’s new hospital project has won the Partnerships Awards top accolade for Best Healthcare Project at a prestigious ceremony in London.

The Partnerships Awards recognise excellence in public private partnership working. High Wood Health who is delivering the new hospital for the Board was nominated along with twelve other healthcare projects currently under construction in the UK and across the globe. The shortlist included projects in Australia, India, Turkey and Italy.

Jeff Ace, Chief Executive for NHS Dumfries and Galloway said: “We are absolutely delighted in the team’s success in this award. This is a significant achievement given the impressive international competition.” “I would like to thank the new hospital project team, and the wider NHS D&G staff for their commitment in developing a strong partnership with High Wood Health to deliver our new district general hospital for the people of Dumfries and Galloway.”
