Police officers are working with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service looking at the cause of a fire which destroyed a house in Northfield Park, Annan during the early hours of this morning, Monday 6 November 2017.
A vehicle parked in front of the house was discovered to be on fire around 00:15 hours this morning and the fire quickly spread to the house.
No one was injured in the blaze.
A joint police and fire investigation is planned for later this morning to establish the cause of the fire.
