ICONIC PIECE OF WICKERMAN FESTIVAL HISTORY UP FOR GRABS

The much loved Wickerman Festival was the South of Scotland’s largest Music festival regularly attracting around 20,000 revellers to celebrate in the hills at East-Kirkcarswell farm, Dundrennan, Dumfries and Galloway. The Festival first launched back in 2001 and sadly ending in 2015. Now the music and partying has stopped an Iconic piece of the festivals history has come up for sale on Ebay. The giant 12 foot high plastic head of comedian Jimmy Carr which was used as a bar at the festival is up for grabs.

Originally created for a Walkers Crisp advert in 2011, then subsequently bought and used at The Wickerman Festival,  as an outside mini bar,  the head is unique and big enough for two people to stand upright and serve from his mouth! There has been no bids so far, and bidding starts at £100, If you wish to bid you can click HERE.

A spokesperson for the festival announced on Facebook today “It’s time for Jimmy Carr to find a new home. If you want to get your hands on a bit of iconic Wickerman memorabilia – then just email [email protected] . Please note removal of Jimmy Carr Head Bar will need to be uplifted by purchaser, perhaps by low loader lorry.”
