Dumfries and galloway council are improving our services to the public by bringing together the Library, Customer Services and Registration in Eastriggs.
In order to enable us to do this Dumfries and Galloway Council require to complete some capital works to refurbish the existing Library and allow it to become fit for purpose.
Eastriggs library closed on Friday 28 October and will re-open on Monday 28 November 2016, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The new integrated facility will re-open on Monday 28 November 2016 at 1.00pm as DG Customer Services – Eastriggs.
As an interim measure a mobile library service is present each Friday from 10am til 3pm during the closure period.
From Monday 28 November 2016, DG Customer Services – Eastriggs will be open:

Chair of Community and Customer Services Committee, Councillor Tom McAughtrie, said, “We will be creating a facility at the existing library premises located at the Eastriggs community school. The new facility will be fit for purpose and will have access to a wide range of information and services under one roof.”
