A public meeting on a second independence referendum will take place this Friday ( April 21/2017) at Castle Douglas Town Hall at 7pm.
The meeting will be used as a call to arms for local Unionists who do not want to see Nicola Sturgeon break up Britain.
The meeting will include remarks by Finlay Carson MSP and Ian Duncan MEP.
Commenting, Finlay Carson MSP said:
“I have decided to arrange this meeting in response to an unprecedented number of calls, emails and messages from people outraged by the prospect of another divisive independence referendum by Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP.
“The sense I am getting from constituents in Galloway & West Dumfries is that opposition to the idea of breaking up Britain has never been stronger and patience with the SNP has never been thinner.
“So if you are fed up of this SNP Government’s obsession with independence, and want them to get on with the day job, come along on Friday and find out what you can do to stand up to the SNP and fight to protect the integrity of our great country.”
