On Wednesday 21st June 2017 the Inner Wheel Club of Kirkcudbright held their annual handover at the Selkirk Arms Hotel.
Following a very successful year, during which the Club raised £2,922. 72 for local and international charities, Mrs Gwendoline Shaw handed over the Presidential Chain of Office to Mrs Sue Jones ( main Image ).
In her final talk, Gwen thanked members for their support during the year and praised everyone for their efforts. She also thanked the staff of the Selkirk Arms for their hard work excellent service.
Incoming President Sue, in her maiden speech, reiterated the Inner Wheel objectives of true friendship, personal service and international understanding – and her wish to promote them in her Presidential Year.
