Dumfriesshire MSP Elaine Murray took part in the annual Moonwalk in Edinburgh this past Saturday night (7 June 2014).
Elaine walked 13.1 miles to raise funds for the charity, “Walk the Walk, uniting against breast cancer”, which provides funding to a range of breast cancer charities including Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Maggie’s Centres. . The walk started and finished at Inverleith Park took in the Arthur’s Seat, the Royal Mile and Ravelston. Elaine managed to complete the walk in 3 hours and 15 minutes
Elaine Murray said:
“The walk was difficult giving the conditions but I was able to improve upon my previous time. This is a great event which raises a great amount of money and awareness for the charity. Thanks to everyone who sponsored me to take part in the walk. “
