Victoria George (Competition Chair) said “The YHoY Competition is about more than winning prizes, it is also about learning and making new contacts, so it is fantastic that we have been able to have a live Grand Final again and especially at such a prestige location.”
Richard Baines, Curator of RBGE Logan Botanic Garden, said “Horticulture has the power to deliver healthy and rewarding careers for individuals of all academic abilities and from every walk of life. This competition provides huge scope for the sector and for young people with an interest in plants and the environment. We are very much looking forward to hosting the Grand Final.”
