At around 03.20am on 23rd March 2025, a 61-year-old male was seriously assaulted in Ashwood Drive, Stranraer. The male was admitted to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in Ashwood Drive, Murrayfield Avenue and Laundry Burn Close around this time.
A police spokesperson stated “If you have CCTV or have a Dash Cam and were in the area at the time, could you please review. If anyone has any information in relation to this incident, please phone 101 quoting reference number 0542/23.”
